Mattie is a 200hr-RYT trained at CorePower Yoga in Boston, MA and a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She is a full-time working mom of two, fitness enthusiast, clean beauty advocate, yoga fanatic and lover of all things health and wellness. Her love for health, fitness and wellness started when she was a collegiate ski racer traveling internationally for competition. She used yoga as a way to stay centered, focused and move her body in different ways. Yoga taught her how to use breathe to stay present and that exercise can be more than just an intense workout in the gym.
In 2015 she enrolled in Teacher Training to deepen her practice. She quickly feel in love with teaching and sharing the practice with others. Her style of teaching is fast paced and direct. She mixes her athletic background and her interest in breathe to create sequences centered around flowing to build heat and strengthen your mental and physical state. Mattie's vinyasa-based classes incorporate a range of music from chill hits and country to pop and classic rock. Her classes are high energy while focusing on proper body alignment and being present. Mattie's passion and goal is to bring health and happiness to those around her through her coaching and teaching.
