Subbing and Sunday Candlelight Series
My yoga journey began in 2000 but it did not solidify into a daily practice until February 2020, when I fulfilled my almost 15-year dream of signing up for my 200 hr. RYT! With a background in gymnastics, fitness, and nutrition, teaching yoga had always been a missing piece for me. As someone who suffers from degenerative disc disease, arthritis, and fibromyalgia, beginning a daily practice has meant a significant decrease in my day-to-day pain. My practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Beyond the physical benefits of yoga, I have also seen my anxiety and stress decrease. With each breath, pose and flow my body and mind are finally healing from the effects of years of stress held in my body and mind. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully and lovingly.
You can expect my classes to consist of a dynamic Vinyasa flow with some longer holds, allowing your body to obtain the most benefit from each asana. Most of all, what I would like to teach others is that yoga is for everyone in some way, shape or form. Daily practice helped me do a complete 180 physically and emotionally and I would love nothing more than to offer that freedom to you as well.
